Leonor Garza, nacida el 11 de abril de 1934, falleció pacíficamente el 20 de noviembre de 2025, a los 91 años de edad. Residente de muchos años en Dinuba, California, Leonor fue muy querida por su familia y por todos los que la conocieron.
Fue precedida en muerte por sus padres, Juan Lozano y Socorro Zendejas, y por su amado esposo, Isidro Garza Rodríguez. Le sobreviven sus hijos: Jorge Luis Garza, Isidro Alfredo Garza (Leticia Garza), Juana María Garza, Salvador Garza, Augustine Garza (Minerva Garza) y Gerardo Garza (Gracie Garza). También deja atrás una gran y amorosa familia compuesta por 29 nietos, 58 bisnietos y 8 tataranietos.
Leonor será recordada por su espíritu cálido y gentil, y por las sencillas alegrías que disfrutaba en la vida. Era una persona hogareña que encontraba consuelo viendo sus novelas y disfrutaba de las películas clásicas de Pedro Infante. También le gustaba jugar bingo y pasar tiempo con su familia, que era el centro de su mundo.
Se llevará a cabo una vigilia en la Iglesia Católica St. Catherine of Siena (356 N Villa Ave, Dinuba, CA 93618) el lunes, 15 de diciembre de 2025, de 5:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m., con un rosario a las 5:30 p.m. La misa fúnebre se celebrará el martes, 16 de diciembre de 2025, a las 10:00 a.m., en el mismo lugar. El entierro se realizará ese mismo día en el Cementerio Smith Mountain, ubicado en 42088 Road 100, Dinuba, California.
El legado de amor, fortaleza y dedicación de Leonor hacia su familia vivirá para siempre en los corazones de quienes la conocieron.
Leonor Garza, born April 11, 1934, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, at the age of 91. A longtime resident of Dinuba, California, Leonor was cherished by her family and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Lozano and Socorro Zendejas, and by her beloved husband, Isidro Garza Rodriguez. Leonor is survived by her children: Jorge Luis Garza, Isidro Alfredo Garza (Leticia Garza), Juana Maria Garza, Salvador Garza, Augustine Garza (Minerva Garza), and Gerardo Garza (Gracie Garza). She also leaves behind a large and loving family of 29 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Leonor will be remembered for her warm, gentle spirit and the simple joys she embraced in life. She was a homebody who found comfort in watching her novelas and delight in the classic films of Pedro Infante. She also enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family, who were the heart of her world.
A vigil will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (356 N Villa Ave, Dinuba, CA 93618) on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a rosary at 5:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will follow on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the same location. Burial will take place that same day at Smith Mountain Cemetery, located at 42088 Road 100, Dinuba, California.
Leonor’s legacy of love, resilience, and devotion to her family will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
