Linda Kay McFarlin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on February 11, 2024, in Hanford, California. She was born on February 5, 1949, in Reedley, California, to Earl Walker Curry and Mary Pauline Jernigan. She was preceded in death by her siblings Carolyn, Wanda, and Marshall Thomas.
Graduating from Reedley High School in 1967 she pursued various endeavors, including working as a telephone operator and eventually becoming a successful ranch owner and manager with Husband Joe McFarlin who were married in Reno, Nevada. They shared a remarkable journey together, celebrating 54 years of marriage.
In her free time, Linda enjoyed fishing, hunting and Casinos.
Survived by her loving husband, Joe, her children, Jordan and Joni with grandchild, Morrison. She is also survived by nieces Alicia (Larry) and Celeste (Steve), who held a special place in her heart.
A private funeral service will be held to honor Linda’s life, as she requested. Her family and closest fiends will gather to share memories, celebrate her remarkable journey, and find solace in being together during this difficult time.
Linda Kay McFarlin will forever be remembered for her unwavering love, her kind and gentle spirit, and the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that her legacy of love lives on in the hearts of those she loved and cared for.
