Manuela Mendoza Villarreal, age 75, of Cutler, California passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 surrounded by the love and warmth of her family and loved ones. Manuela, most commonly known as "Nelly", will always be remembered for her kind and gentle soul, a woman who welcomed any and everyone into her home with open arms.
Nelly is preceded in death by her husband Candelario Villarreal, son Raymond Garcia, and brothers and sisters Cruz Mendoza, Joe Mendoza, Tommy Mendoza, Julio Mendoza, Mary Mendoza and Barbara Ortega.
She is survived by her daughter Rosemary Villarreal and her sons Emilio Mendoza, Candelario Villarreal Jr, and Michael Balderas. Along with her step-children, grandchildren, beloved family dog Coco, two sisters Pilar Nanez and Ramona Hernandez and many other family and friends.
A visitation for Manuela will be held Monday, August 4, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Dopkins Funeral Chapel, 189 South J Street, Dinuba, CA 93618. A rosary will occur Monday, August 4, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 189 South J Street, Dinuba, CA 93618. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 356 N Villa Ave, Dinuba, CA 93618. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Smith Mountain Cemetery, 42088 Rd 100, Dinuba, CA 93618.
