A proud and passionate Raider fan, Marvin lived life with a laid-back spirit and a big heart. Known for his love of coffee morning, noon, and night, his daily Cheerios, and his devotion to NASCAR Sundays, Marvin lived simply but fully. He was a gifted harmonica player who could bring a smile to any gathering with a few soulful notes, and his favorite musician, George Thorogood, was often the soundtrack of his good times.
He enjoyed camping, good laughs and a little weed to keep things mellow—true to his easy going nature. Marvin was family-oriented, chill, and always the one to make people feel at home. His humor, warmth, and presence will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Marvin is survived by his children: Anissa Noonkester, Heather Parks, Jason Parks, Josh Parks, Andy Parks, Missy Parks, Michael Parks, and Ashley Parks. He is also survived by his brothers Henry Parks, Norman Parks, and Gerald Parks. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his 23 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Henry Norman Parks and Leon Faye (Luther) Parks.
