Mildred Louise Dowling was born in Coachella, California to Jack Otis Dowling and Elizabeth Stephenson Dowling on February 12, 1931. She passed away at her husband's side on Monday, June 21, 2013. She was married to Fred Newton Day for nearly 60 years and is survived by three sons, Martin, Freddie, and Paul Day, and four daughters, Donna Day, Anna Dunn, Dina Day Enstrom, and Lorie Day. She is also survived by his brother-in-law Wiliam Day, 29 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
