Shelba LaVelle Phillips was born in Forrester, AR, on March 7, 1941. She died on January 16, 2017, at the age of 75. She was a 1959 graduate of Reedley High School. Shelba worked as a Medical Receptionist for 45 years, first for Dr. Robb Smith in Orange Cove, and then for Dr Ruminson in Dinuba.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Phillips and his wife, Katherine, of Dinuba; her daughter, Julie Dover of Clovis; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Justen Phillips, II, Aprill Michelle Knox, Brittani Justine Bolding and Chance Gregory Parish; one great grandson, Jaxon David Bolding; her brothers, George Wendell Callahan of Fresno and Charles Gaylan Callahan of Hanford;and her sister, Sandra Lea Bridge of Oakhurst.
Celebration Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Neighborhood Church in Visalia.
