Treva Ward

On November 2nd, 2023, Treva Jo (Friend) Ward passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends. Treva was born January 21st, 1940 in Canton, Oklahoma to her parents Viola Winnie Perfect and Haskell Ivan Friend.

In her younger years, she was president of PTA in Dinuba and very involved in her community. She was also a travel agent and loved visiting the Hawaiian islands. Treva loved her family, especially all her grandchildren. She had a passion for painting, sewing, and gardening to name a few. Treva was preceded in death by her husband Howard Dean Ward, her grandson Gabriel Arthur Ward, and her brother Gerald Dean Ward.

Treva is survived by her four children, Joseph Dean Ward Sr., Cynthia Ward Escott, Amanda Leigh (Ward) McCarty, and Patrick John Ward. She leaves behind 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Siblings, Carroll Duane Friend, and Norma Jean (Friend) Pinkley. Treva also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own children. Though she has departed from this world, her spirit will live on through the memories and cherished moments she created with her loved ones.
