Will was born January 31,1938 in Reedley, California. He lived most of his life in Dinuba. Will leaves behind his 2 children, Kelly and Nick Culver, 3 grandchildren, Christian Culver, Kourtney and Danielle Shin, 2 sisters Betty Kapheim and Doris Maas and his loving partner, Barbara Lagrutta. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lavine and Willard Culver, Sr. and his second wife Sandrea Dreier-Gligoor Culver.
Will served 4 years in the Navy.
Will was an extremely hard working man. He was a Jr. High history teacher for 33 years in Visalia. Will farmed grapes, stone fruit and citrus. He also owned Culver’s Car Wash.
Willard will be missed by many.
A visitation for Willard will be held Monday, October 27, 2025 at Dopkins Funeral Chapel, 189 South J Street, Dinuba, CA 93618 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM. A committal service will occur Monday, October 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Smith Mountain Cemetery, 42088 Rd 100, Dinuba, CA 93618.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Kourtney Shin’s film project in memory of Will Culver. Kourtney is working to transfer all of Grandpa Culver’s old films into a digital format so that family and friends can enjoy them for years to come. The total project cost is $2,000.
