Anita Schwartz

Schwartz, Anita Adler – 100 of Gurwin Assisted Living in Commack, formerly of Westchester County, NY passed away peacefully of natural causes on August 7, 2013 weeks after celebrating her 100th birthday. Anita was a loving mother to three children; Arnold Schwartz, Barbara and Paul Mandelik, Joel and Jane Schwartz, seven grandchildren; Sheryl and Ron Dagostino, Russell and Kathy Mandelik, Ilissa and Yoram Miller, Fran and Bob Nichols, Sarah and Evan Perlin, Ian Schwartz, Jill and Lewis Weinger. She was a truly beloved great-grandmother to five grandsons: Eli and Ari Dagostino, Gabriel Miller, Jacob and Ethan Weinger. Anita proudly served as the Matriarch of her family and was a cherished Aunt, Great Aunt, and Cousin to many she loved. Predeceased by her husband Israel Schwartz and three siblings Lou Adler, Ira Adler and Hetta Mauber, the Funeral will be Friday August 9, 2013 at 10am with a burial to follow at Ceder Park Cemetery in New Jersey.
