She was predeceased by her husband Sonny, and by her siblings Gertrude (Alan) Slavin and Maurice (Evelyn) Welt, her son-in-law Donald and her grandson Seth.
Anne graced our lives with humor, wisdom, and her most amazing optimism. Friends and family appreciated her wonderful cooking and baking. She was well known for her extraordinary pies.
Anne loved to travel the world and visited exotic places including Italy, Spain, Figi, Thailand, Israel, Scandinavia, Alaska, and two dream visits to Africa.
She gave tirelessly of herself volunteering at the ER of Holy Cross Hospital, and as a caregiver at Shared Care, an organization that provided arts and recreation to infirmed and seniors providing their family caregivers a time of rest and relaxation. Anne was a volunteer at Shared Care of more than 30 years.
Anne was always available to anyone needing a helping hand.
Anne's greatest love was her family and she devoted innumerable hours crocheting many afghans, and stitching beautifully detailed needlepoint wall hangings and pillows for her family.
She treasured the holiday get togethers and all the times shared with family at bar-b-ques, special events, and ordinary visits throughout the years.
A Special Thank You to Camene and Natalie for the tireless and loving care they gave to Anne.
