Blanche Lerman

Blanche Lerman, 97, formerly of Lake Worth, FL and Woodmere, NY, died peacefully on June 18, 2023. Our family matriarch, she loved her family dearly. Blanche was always an optimist who found humor in every situation. She loved helping others and was the ultimate caregiver. She enjoyed dancing with her husband and was a long-time devoted player of canasta and Mahjong. She will be missed by her sister, Audrey Plusch (Charlie Greenberg), her daughter, Roberta Herman (Alan), her son, Andrew Lerman (Judi), her grandchildren, Jaime Herman (Josh Davis), Daniel Herman (Julia), David Lerman, and Adam Lerman (Jill), her great-grandchildren, Lucas and Cameron Davis, Eliana and Riley Herman, and Milo and Mabel Lerman, and her nieces and nephew. Blanche was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Murray Lerman, her parents, Clara and David Useloff, her sister Elaine Daniels, and many other relatives. Graveside services will be 11AM on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, NY. Donations in Blanche’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and The American Cancer Society.
