Charles Arthur Farb

Charles Farb entered into eternal rest on August 1, 2015 at the age of 81 years old. Beloved husband of Sandra, cherished father of Andrea (George) and Scott (Lisa) and adored grandfather of Andrew, Eric, Lindsay, Alexandra and Gabrielle.

Mr. Farb loved the fast pace in his career as a stockbroker and enjoyed every hour of the day at work and couldn't wait for Monday morning to arrive so that he could engage in the work he so enjoyed. During his leisure time he was quite the tennis player and enjoyed sunny days on the tennis court. The great story of Charles' life began 62 years ago when a boy of 19 met a beautiful girl of 15 years of age and what was a summer romance at Ackerman's Camp began a tale of a beautiful love story. The story of a 58 year marriage of Charles and Sandra who found no greater joy than the family they created when they had Andrea and Scott. Years later their children gave to their parents the most profound gift of five grandchildren. Charles will forever be loved by his family and friends and will sadly be missed.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at IJ Morris, 21 East Deer Park, Dix Hills, New York followed by a private cremation.

Shiva will be held at the Farb residence immediately following the memorial service until 8:00 pm that evening. Shiva will continue on Monday and Tuesday from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
