I just got back from the dentist and learned of Dawn's passing. My husband and I are so saddened by the news. She was always so pleasant. Our deepest sympathy goes out to her family especially during this holiday season. She will be in my prayers.

I was a childhood friend of Dawn going back to PS 209 and thru Bayside Hs,  When Dawn added me as a friend last year on Facebook even after 37 years it was like yesterday in my memory, We were in many classes together  particularly in PS 209 and Dawn was such a warm and loving kid. Even in HS she was the same way as  a young adult. I am glad to have had the pleasure of being her childhood friend through all these years and even though it had been years when she friended me it was as it was yesterday. My sincere condolences to her family. She will not be forgotten. Prayers to her beloved Family.

We will always remember Dawn as our beautiful, funny and smiling neighbor. Her love and dedication to animals was a testament to the kind of person that she was.  Her kindness made this world a little nicer to live in and will not be forgotten.

I hope you can take comfort in knowing that now you have a wonderful guardian angel to watch over you.  This was such a sudden tragedy that it is hard to comprehend that she is gone, and so young.  I only knew Dawn for a short time.  But in that time she made a large impact in my life.  I could tell that she was a loving, caring woman.  I will miss her sitting in my pedicure chair, and hugging and kissing my little doggie Daphne, who loved her so much.  Again my heart goes out to all that lost this wonderful woman.
