Dora "Bobby" Arkin - age 89 of Dix Hills, NY passed away on Friday May 15, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Murray Arkin, loving mother of JoAnn, Steven (Susan), and Faith (Richard), adored grandmother of Andy, Scott, Amanda, Josh, Adam, Zachary, and Jake, cherished great grandmother Jack, Sam, Mylie, Wyatt, Nate, Eliana, and Abby, and devoted sister of Marsha. May her memory be eternal. Funeral services will be held graveside on Monday May 18, 2015 commencing at 11:00am at the New Montefiore Cemetery in Pinelawn, NY. Those attending please meet at the cemetery office. Shiva will be observed Monday immediately following services at (1064 Glen Cove Rd. Glen Head, NY) and on Tuesday and Wednesday after 12:00pm at The Gurwin Assisted Living (50 Hauppauge Rd. Commack, NY 11725).
