Edna Weissman

Edna Weissman was born on March 22, 1932 in Bronx, NY and passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on July 29, 2026. Wife of Marvin Weissman (z”l), Mother of Ivy, Leonard and David Weissman and grandmother of Eddie Weissman (Alyssa), Brittany Weissman and Samantha Kortesoja (Lance). Edna was the great grandmother of Rose Madison Kortesoja and Gia Popov. She is also survived by her sister Debbie Lazarus. Edna was a beloved aunt to all of

her nieces and nephews. She was adored by her three daughters-in-law, Maureen, Judi and Teri. She was a lifelong resident of Douglaston, Queens and also Delray Beach, FL and Smithtown, NY. Edna was beloved by all who knew her and was known for her spirited sense of humor and the warmth and love she shared with friends and family. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at I.J. Morris, 21 East Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, NY 11746, US, on July 31, 2026, at 10:00. Burial will immediately follow at the Riverside Cemetery, 12 Market St, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663, US, on July 31, 2026.
