Dear Golderg family,

I was very saddened to learn of Gary's death.  We were friends for so many years, in junior high, high school and for many years beynold.  We lost touch in our late 20's.  Although I haven't seem Gary in over 20 years, I still have fond memories of him and the times we shared together.  Gary had terrific charisma and poeple were always attracted to him.  Great athlete.  My deapest condolences to Joyce, Don, Susan, Sally and their daughter.  Gary left a lasting legacy on all those he met.  Rest in peace.

My heart aches. Gary was a wonderful person. He always, always said hello to me in the halls at Commack south. He would give me a ride home from school in that blue car.  Boston and Styx were always blasting. My prayers to all of you. This is such a loss for so many of us. Joe was so lived by so many.

I was so saddened to hear about Gary's passing. There are so many wonderful memories that we had on the courts of the SCJCC, hoop it uP tourn's, bowling nights. It seems like only yesterday, we used to all go out and have great dinners together. Gary, I will miss you. My prayers are with you, Sally, Daniell. As you would always say : I'll call you ! I miss you my 
friend !

Gary was a great guy, we used to play basketball together at the Suffolk JCC, he will be missed. He is in my prayers.

It truly saddens me to hear of Gary's passing, both myself and my boys will miss him on the court!!!!! You were a true friend and a genuinely nice guy!

Dear Goldberg Family,

I grew up with Gary.  We lived at the corner of McLane and McCulloch Drive.  He was a kind person with an ever present warm smile and was a terrific basketball player if I remember correctly. I was so saddened to learn of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you-Sally, Danielle, Joyce, Donald and Susan.

High school was only a few years and it was many, many years ago yet there are certain friends and memories that are timeless.  It feels like it was just yesterday that Gary was in the back gym shooting his jump shot over me or driving around me - all the while with that easygoing demeanor that made it almost painless.  Good guy, good friend.  Prayers from Joanne and myself go out to him and his family

Gary always managed to walk in the office with a huge smile on his face which made us all smile as well regardless of the hectic day we are having... Gary you are truly going to be missed!!!

my family lived down the block from the Goldberg's growing up.  I remember Gary as being very handsome, a great athlete, but most of all a very kind person!!  Joyce, Don, Susan, Gary's wife and child- you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I haven't seen Gary in many years, our childhood was was spent together - Family events, holidays, summer camp, etc. Gary was a cousin and a brother. I have and, G-d willing, have fond memories of Gary.

Joyce, Don and Susan - you are in my prayers and thoughts.

Over the past 5 years, Gary was like a second father to me & the memories I have with him will be cherished forever in my heart.

Gary was truly a kind and caring person who was loved much and will be forever missed.
