To the Pincus Family 

I just again want you to know how sad I feel about this news because knowing you and your family have been a very special blessing for me and I am grateful that I know you and was in your life George was my favorite person and I’m so thankful that we were

Mr. Pincus will always hold a place in my heart. He was my Assistant Principal while attending Woods Road Elementary… years later as the Principal,  he hired me as a teacher. His warm smile and heart will always be remembered. My thoughts are with his lovely family.

I’m so very sorry and saddened to hear this tragic loss. I worked with George for many years at woods road school. We first met at weeks road school. I got to know his family very well Barbra, David, Jeffry and Susan. They were all very close and very caring. I have fond memories with him and his family that I will always cherish. I remember Mr. Pincus from when my boys attended Woods Road School in North Babylon.  I remember him as a very nice man.  My condolences go out to his family and friends.

I remember George when he was a Little League basketball coach I was a referee. I need to dare  me to call the technical which of course I did. He also hired my friend Stik to work at Shea stadium to make a little money for when we went to Europe and lastly the reason I knew him in the first place was he was my friend Dave’s uncle. 
I remember that raspy  Voice and that he was a nice guy

George Moonis

What can I say about Mr. Pincus? He has always held a very special place in my heart. He hired me as a first grade teacher at Woods Road Elementary School in 1980. He was my mentor. Years later I joined him at DeLuca! We spent many years together and I had the opportunity to meet his beautiful family. He was a family man in every sense of the phrase. Over the years we lost touch, but I thought of him often. Mr. Pincus… I hope you have a poem in your pocket… with love  and respect, Joan Marchesi Casamento. RIP😘🙏❤️

Dave and Ruthie, several years ago we randomly met on the tennis court and we quickly became friends. We are grateful for that chance encounter and the friendship that has resulted. Through this friendship we’ve come to meet and know so many members of your wonderful family, including George. We will remember his warmth, his  great sense of humor and the extraordinary relationship between him, his wife and her twin sister.  May all the happy memories you’ve amassed as a family bring you peace and comfort during this time and as you move forward.

Mr. Pincus was our principal when I attended Woods Road Elementary school back in the 1970's. I recently shared with someone that he and Mr. Lyons led with a firm yet caring demeanor. The impact he's had on so many children, parents, and educators has been sending ripples across the planet since he entered the field of education and I have cherished the time I was a student under his watch. This student has since grown up to be a school teacher, college professor, international presenter, and soon-to-be DMA, Doctor of Musical Arts. He helped to point us all in the right direction and prepare us for life in the years beyond elementary school. He really was terrific! May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of George’s passing. I worked for him for many years at Woods Road. Many fond memories of George. My condolences to Barbara and family.

So sorry for your loss.  Mr Pincus was my first experience with a principal at Woods Rd School where my children attended.   He was always so kind and always ready to listen no matter what the conversation was about.   Definitely a blessing in the North Babylon School District.  🙏
