Gerald Rudnet

Gerald Rudnet, 78, of Dix Hills, New York, passed away peacefully on November 11th, 2025. Gerry was a loving husband, son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend, whose generosity and love knew no bounds. Born in Queens, New York on September 25th, 1947, Gerry was a devoted husband of nearly 57 years to his wife, Lenore Rudnet.

Gerry will be remembered as a true patriarch and a leader in all of the communities of which he was a part. Gerry always lived life on a mission – as a math teacher at the start, director of United Cerebral Palsy for many years, and ultimately managing his own accounting business. He was a man who knew the answer to the most difficult questions and decisions and was a constant guiding light to his many family and friends. His generosity, love, and wisdom were felt by all who knew him.

Gerry is preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. However, his passion for life and continued love will be carried on through his wife, Lenore, and their children Gwen, Marc, and Heather, as well as his 8 beautiful grandchildren.

A committal service will follow at Wellwood Cemetery, 1500 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704, on November 13, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm.
