Harold C. Blog – age 93 of Northport, NY passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joan; his loving children Debra (Lawrence), James (Stacey) and Melissa (Thomas), and his cherished grandchildren Rachel, Justin, Talia, Chloe, Alison, Zachary and Daniel. A decorated physician who practiced internal medicine for 37 years, in Huntington, NY; Harold also served his country proudly during World War II where he was a POW. May his memory be eternal. Funeral services will be held at Temple Beth EL of Huntington on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 commencing at 11:00am with interment to immediately follow at the Huntington Jewish Center Cemetery in Huntington Station, NY. Shiva will be observed at the Blog residence Tuesday immediately following services and on Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made the Long Island Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
