Helene Hellman

Helene Hellman, age 76, of New York, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025 from the lingering effects of Breast Cancer. She was born on November 7, 1948 to Rebecca and Joseph Hellman in Brooklyn, NY. She is survived by her Sister, Sandy Sager and Brother, Stuart Hellman, Nephew, Scott Sager (Lynn), Nieces, Debbie Lopez (Matt), Rachel Hicks (David) and Melinda Kifner (Daniel). Helene worked in New York City her entire career in the Insurance Industry after graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Besides the color Purple her true love was spending summers at Kismet on Fire Island with her many friends. She was an avid reader and artist.

Funeral Services will be held at the IJ Morris Funeral Home, 21 East Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, NY 11746 on Monday, April 28 @ 12 Noon, with burial at New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Avenue, West Babylon, NY 11704 @ 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen organization.
