Ilene Newman (nee Zukor) – age 63 of Melville, NY passed away on Sunday May 3, 2015. Ilene is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Steven Newman, her loving daughter and son in law Alison and Karl Fisher, and her adored granddaughter Emma. May her memory be eternal. Funeral services will be held graveside on Tuesday May 5, 2015 commencing at 2:00pm at the New Montefiore Cemetery in Babylon, NY. Those attending please meet at the cemetery office. Shiva will be observed at the “Newman” residence, (23 Hanley Avenue. Melville, NY 11747) Tuesday after 7:00pm and Wednesday after 12:00pm and will resume Thursday at the “Fisher” residence through Friday until sundown, and will again resume again Saturday after shabbos and on Sunday after 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local food bank in Ilene’s memory.
