Iris Hyman

Iris Hyman, 66, of New York City, sadly passed away on November 5, 2011. Iris leaves behind her beloved husband Charles; her loving mother Estelle Orenstein; her children Melissa and John Ryan and Allison Hyman; her brothers Harold and Ed Orenstein and sisters Marcie Falco and Polly Orenstein; and her cherished grandchildren Jake and Kayla Ryan. Iris was also an adored aunt to Allison, Max, Molly, Andrea and Michael. Services will be held at I. J. Morris, 21 East Deer Park Rd., Huntington Station, NY 11746, on Monday, November 7, 2011, at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at the Beth Moses Cemetery in Pinelawn, New York. Shiva will be observed at the home of Melissa and John Ryan, 4 Lewis Court, Huntington Station, NY 11746, on Monday following the service until 8:00 PM, and on Tuesday and Wednesday, 12:00 – 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Ovarian Cancer Research Center or Family Residences and Essential Enterprises (FREE).
