I worked with Lauri for several years at the college. I am a day older than Lauri and we always had the running joke about how she was younger. She was very smart and spoke Spanish fluently.  She will be missed in the world.

The livestream offered Garson and me and all those present an opportunity to learn about Dear Lauri on a deeper, even more heartfelt level. I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around this.  We've known each other for 50 years ever since you asked me for my anatomy notes freshman year at FDU Dental and Lauri was flying for Eastern Airlines.  I can't remember seeing you without Lauri.  You were the best man at our wedding and you both were there to celebrate.  Our lives were very much entwined for half a century whether it be on Rosita Lane or Hideaway Bay or Delray Beach.
