Meryl Lee Hershkowitz, born on October 15, 1958, passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 67.


Meryl from the very beginning, you stood out—not in a loud or attention-seeking way, but in the quiet, magnetic way that draws people in. You had a lightness about you, a joy that seemed to live just beneath your skin. Being your cousin meant having a front-row seat to your caring ways, your stories, and the unmistakable warmth you brought into every room. You made growing up feel like an adventure, and I was always grateful to be along for the ride. Losing you has left a quiet ache in my heart. But alongside the grief is immense gratitude. I’m grateful we shared memories as adults and reminisce about our younger days. I’m thankful for every text message, every call, every visit that reminded me of how lucky I was to have you in my life.Your love, your spirit, your memory—they stay with me, always. In my thoughts, in my choices, in quiet moments and loud ones, your presence lives on, deeply cherished. You were more than a cousin—you were a spark, a safe place, a lifelong friend. And though you’re gone, the light you brought into this world lingers in all of us who loved you. I hope you knew how deeply you mattered.
