Monique Reboh

Mom immigrated to the USA in 1969. She was the Daughter of Joseph Bitton and Zara Abitbol and the Wife of Nessim Reboh.

Mother to 7 daughters, Raymonde, Stella, Evelyne, Micheline, Peggy, Danielle, Isabelle and two sons, Joe and Jacques. Mother-in-Law to Thomas Chung, Steven Gurin, Paul Harris, Adam Klein, Nell Reboh and Eileen Reboh. Grandmother to Laurent, Gabrielle, Claudine, Jason, Adriel, Yanick, Max, Benji, Jael, Shiobhan, Shannon, Sidney and Anabel. Great-Grandmother to Kiana, Adrian, Ariel, Jared, Arya, Shamara, Jarah, Kieran and Orian. Sister to her brother Messode and two sisters; Estere & Dinah Bitton.

Mom embraced the culture in the USA, took language class in the evening and a hospital job in spite of never having an outside job before. She never looked back.

Mum showed motivation, resilience, generosity to others and topping that, a good sense of humor. She had the strength of character that kept her going, keeping the family together.

She had a heart that was as immense as the ocean. Without boundaries, her love was her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. If that was not enough, she included all of our extended family and friends.

Mom gave us the most precious gift; she believed in us. She was our support and our strength through all the challenges we faced together. Through her support we grew up to become physicians, nurses, medical administrators, educators, a cosmetician, a property engineer, an electrician, leather crafters & artisans, a finance administrator & a real estate professional. Her family was her life and joy. She loved all of us unconditionally and we were blessed to have her for so long. Her endless Love, her smile and her strength will live on in all of us. She loved celebrating Shabbat and holidays, preparing 5 course meals for her children, her extended family and friends, which became family too. All were always welcome.

Mom, we love you for everything you did and mainly for being the person you were. Thank you Mom. May you rest in peace and eternal love. We will miss you.

A Graveside Service will be held at New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704, US, on October 15, 2026 at 11:00am.
