

Myron Brown, 78 of Deer Park, New York, passed away on March 26, 2016 surrounded by his family. Myron was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Louis and Ruth (Fuchs) Brown and is pre-deceased by his dear brother Allan. Myron was a Pharmacist; He had a great mind for business and was the owner/operator of Blank Drug in Bay Shore, New York for many years. He enjoyed boating, fishing and in his younger years, skiing; especially when he and son Howard made a memorable ski trip to the Alps. Myron liked "tinker around the house": he was a real handyman who loved his family, especially spending fun times with his grandchildren. Myron is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 49 years, Gail; loving children Howard (Lindsey) Brown and Lisa (John) Gallarello. He also leaves behind 3 adoring grandchildren, Rachel, Amanda and Noah to cherish his memory forever. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at I.J. Morris, 21 East Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, New York. Interment will take place immediately following services at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, New York. Shiva will take place immediately following funeral services and Monday through Friday after 3:00pm, until sundown on Friday evening. Shiva will continue Saturday evening, Sunday after 3:00pm and conclude on Monday morning. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made in Myron's memory to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
