Myron Schlesinger

Myron Schlesinger entered into eternal rest on July 16, 2015 at the age of 83 years old. Beloved husband of Sydelle, devoted father of Amy (Glenn) Rich and Andrew (Kimberly) and adored grandfather of Alexander, Mollie, Pearson and Natalie.

Mr. Schlesinger enjoyed an adventure and the many road trips across the country shared with his loving wife, Sydelle and children throughout the years. The most beautiful adventure was the trip to Green Mansions Resort in Chestertown, New York a lifetime ago which was the start of a beautiful future ... the day he met Sydelle. 56 years of marriage, many photo albums full of memories, a life shared with many trips, laughs and bad jokes! Mr. Schlesinger was an educator, a creative man who enjoyed woodwork and photography, but his greatest love in life was his family. He will be forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

A chapel service will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 12:00 pm at IJ Morris, 21 East Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, New York and interment to follow at Huntington Jewish Center Cemetery, Old Country Road, Huntington Station, New York.

Shiva will follow interment on Sunday until 9:00 pm and will resume Monday 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Schlesinger residence. Shiva will continue at the residence of Amy and Glenn Rich on Tuesday and Wednesday with evening service at 7:00 pm.
