

He was born to the late Abraham Sherman and late Anna Faust on November 11, 1930 in Poland. Nat had a masters degree in linguistics from NYU and was a retired audio/visual administrator for Bayport-Blue Point School District. He was a holocaust survivor who immigrated to the United States at 15 years old. Nat was a true renaissance man from gardening, woodworking, set designing, photography, music composing, playing chess, as well as an expert in culinary arts. In addition to all of this he was a compassionate care taker during his wife’s 3 time battle with cancer, cared for his stepfather Papa Harry, and his Irving Manin his father-in-law with end of life care.
Nathan is survived by; wife Michelle, daughters; Eve, Lisa, Joyce, stepdaughter‘s; Stephanie and Tracy, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and sister Sonia. Funeral services at I.J. Morris Funeral Home in Dix Hills, New York on April 14, 2026 @ 12:00PM followed by internment at Wellwood cemetery.
