Rebecca Battan, age 91 of NYC, NY sadly passed away on December 10, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Mayer Battan, loving mother of Esther (Michael) Weill, and Jimmy (Stefania) Battan; and adored grandmother of Howard (Jeanette), Jennifer, and Amy. May her memorry always remain in our thoughts and hearts. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday December 19, 2012 at the Beth Olam Cemetery in Ridgewood, NY commencing at 11:00am. Those attending please meet at the cemetery office. Shiva will be held Wednesday and Thursday at 157 Alicia Dr. North Babylon, NY from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
