GORDON, Rhoda Lee – age 86 of Glen Cove, NY passed away on Sunday October 25, 2015. Rhoda is predeceased by her beloved husband Leon, and dear friend and companion Philip Rindler. She is survived by her loving children Andrea M. Gordon and Carrie (Charles) Lowrey as well as her cherished sister Harriet Carlin – Chernoff. Rhoda was an accomplished educator and talented artist who had a love for gourmet cooking, gardening and traveling and enjoyed day trading on the NYSE. Her generosity of spirit and love of life will be remembered by us all. Funeral services will be held at IJ Morris Dix Hills on Tuesday October 27, 2015 commencing at 12:30pm with interment to immediately follow at the New Montefiore Cemetery in Pinelawn, NY.
