Richard Moskowitz

Richard was born on October 24, 1950, in Queens, New York, to Dorothy and Al Moskowitz and big brother to Leslee. He grew up in Jericho, where he attended Jericho High School. He went on to attend Northeastern University, graduating and beginning a career as an accountant. After many years of hard work and dedication to his career, Richard retired approximately ten years ago.

On November 10, 1973, Richard married his beloved wife, Barbara. Together, they built a life and a family centered around love, devotion, and making countless memories. Barbara was the center of his world and the family they created together. After Barbara’s passing several years ago, Richard was fortunate to find love and companionship again with Debra Davidson, who shared the last three and a half years of his life with him.

Their time together was filled with adventures, travel, laughter, and a shared passion for Broadway. They created new memories together and brought joy and excitement into each other’s lives. Richard was grateful for the love and companionship they shared during those final years.

Richard was, at his heart, a true family man. His family was his greatest source of love, pride, and joy. He was a devoted father to his children, Matt and Michelle, and a cherished father-in-law to Adrienne Miriam. He was also a proud grandfather to Willow Bryn, who brought him immeasurable happiness.

Richard had a lifelong love of sports and enjoyed following his favorite teams and sharing that passion with his family. Whether watching a game, traveling, enjoying Broadway, or simply spending time with the people he loved, Richard treasured the experiences and memories that made life special.

Above all else, Richard will be remembered for the love he had for his family. He was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved, and his family was at the center of his world. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, traditions, adventures, and moments that will be treasured forever.

Richard will be deeply missed by his children, Matt and Michelle; his daughter-in-law, Adrienne Miriam; his granddaughter, Willow Bryn; his partner, Debra Davidson; and all of his extended family and friends who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

His memory will live on in the family he loved so deeply, the adventures he shared, the stories we tell, and the countless lives he touched throughout his life.
