Robert Louis Harrison

HARRISON - Dr. Robert Louis, a retired dentist, avid sailor, and talented carpenter, builder, artist, musician and chef passed away suddenly from an accident on Thursday April 26, 2018 at 72 years old. He is survived by his wife Beverly Smith, daughters Mercedes Harrison-Thomas and Justine Smith Harrison, son in law Jason Thomas and two granddaughters Savannah Marie and Violet Alexandra Thomas. Dr. Harrison is also survived by countless friends, associates and extended family. He would want us to keep laughing and critically thinking. We will gather with love and remembrance for services at IJ Morris at 21 East Deer Park Rd, Dix Hills. NY 11746 on Sunday April 29, 2018. Private family viewing at 9:30 AM and formal service at 10:00 AM. Shiva calls to follow at the residence of Beverly Smith and Robert Harrison beginning on Sunday April 29, 2018 at 4 PM & Monday April 30, 2018 at 11 to 2 and 4 to 7 PM. There will be a memorial event with music and readings in the later spring in Huntington. Anyone who would like to speak at the service on Sunday April 29 is welcome to do so.
