Roslyn Finkel

Roslyn Finkel, 94 passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 13, 2025. Born on April 18, 1931 in Richmond Hill, New York to Isidore and Ethel Mann, Roslyn was the youngest of eight children. She met the love of her life, Samuel “Joseph”, at a dance at the Emporium in New York City in March 1953. They were married on June 20, 1954 at Delian Mansion in Brooklyn and celebrated nearly 63 years as honeymooners. Roslyn worked as a secretary for the McCrory Corporation. She worked there until embracing the role of her life providing a warm and nurturing family home. Roslyn kept an immaculate house and loved to cook.

Roslyn’s greatest gift was her unconditional love for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, along with her sisters and brothers. Devoted mother of Eileen, Jeffrey and Stuart and mother-in-law of Robert, Debbie and Grace. Proud Grandmother of Michael, Jonathan, Russell, Jason, Jennifer, Jared and Sophie, and Great-Grandmother of Eliza and Landon.

Roslyn had a twinkle in her hazel eyes that always shone brightly. She will be deeply missed by all those who love her.

A funeral service will be held at I.J. Morris, located at 21 East Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, NY, 11746, on November 17, 2025, at 12:00 pm.

Burial will follow at the New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY, 11704, on the same day at 1:30 pm.
