Sandra (Birnbaum) Rich, passed away on May 5, 2020. Sandi was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Mel Rich. She is survived by her stepchildren, Wendy Rich-Coleman and her husband Rich Coleman of Mansfield, Massachusetts, June Rich of Weston, Florida and Hillary Rich of Morrisville North Carolina and her grandchildren, Ben Coleman of Mansfield, MA, Lindsay Coleman of New York, N.Y., Lauren Babitz and Marissa Babitz of Weston, FL. Before her retirement she was a first grade teacher at the Ruth C. Kinney elementary school in the East Islip School District. She will be dearly missed by her many longtime close friends from that group.
Due to the current situation, private burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday May 11 at Wellwood Cemetery , Wyandanch, N.Y. A memorial will take place at a later late.
