My condolences to your entire family.  I had the privilege of meeting and studying under Professor Jospe this past fall at Stony Brook.  He was a wonderful instructor and a kind man.  I considered it a blessing to have been his student.

I will keep you all in my prayers.

We are so saddened to hear of the loss of Ted. We moved next door to the Jospe's 17 years ago pregnant with twins, and from our first day as their neighbor, they've been so kind to our family, even tolerating our little Havanese dog, who irritatingly and repeatedly ran into their yard. From time to time, Ted would share a peak at his craftsmanship inside his woodshop, where he masterfully carved rocking horses and other treasures for his grandchildren. He and Leslie opened their doors to our young children, inviting them in and entertaining them with toys, treats and blissful exploration. Ted was a very giving, kind man, even stopping by to attend our son's Bris. We will miss his gentle smile and  "Tk2Asprin" license plate, as we passed one another along Smith Ave. Our deepest condolences to Leslie and the entire extended family.

My condolences to the entire family on the passing of Ted. He was one of the Hospital Administrators that took the time to speak to me in his office when I was interning in Hospital Administration at South Nassau Communities Hospital. My career was very much influenced by Ted who I was fortunate to know for over four decades. They don't make them like Ted anymore. I will miss him. Ken Roberts, President Mather Hospital.

Teddy was much more than a cousin to me growing up.   He was really like the best brother I could imagine.   We spent almost all summer vacations together including every Chanukah and Passover- usually at his home in Sea Cliff.  All my memories are of the fun we had together  I can't remember a single moment of conflict or an angry exchange. How many brothers can say that.  Our visits would start by reading Mad magazines together and singing Al Yankovich songs, riding bikes down Sea Cliff hill to the beach and playing handball. 
 He was only 4 months older than I but he was almost always better at stuff than I.   A gifted musician while I was a hack at best.  He was a champion wrestler while I was barely average.   I was no match to his wit especially when he and his sister, Debby went into hilarious dialogues imitating all kinds of characters.  I always respected and admired him for his talents and he seemed to respect me.  I can't recall any jealousy, envy or competition.  How many brothers can say that?
 We had planned to go to the same college until he got a free scholarship ticket to New York schools and wanted NYU because of its good dental school and decided to go to Hopkins because it had a good MED school.  
  His Sister Debby, cousin Arlene and I felt close and we created something we called the Posvolsky Union with special coins we made.  Posvolsky (sp?) was the Zaidy Oscar's (Our maternal grandfather) last name before it got changed at Ellis Island to Levin.   However after college we stopped having much contact with Teddy. I am not sure how that happened. Good brothers certainly don't do that. I had been thinking a lot about Teddy recently I didn't even know he was hospitalized. I was determined to see him soon but it never happened

It was a joy and a gift to have worked with Ted for 26 years.  His caring, humor and generosity was outstanding.  I am so sorry for your loss and pray that all the wonderful memories you have of Ted will comfort you through this difficult time.

Sorry to hear of your loss.   Ted was a valued member of the violin section at the North Shore Symphony Orchestra and his presence is greatly missed.   My deepest condolences to his family.

Words cannot express how grateful and blessed I feel to have known Dad Ted in my life.  His sharp wit backed by his brilliance was only overshadowed by his love for his family and open arms to many extended family.  I grew up knowing he adored Leslie and Norm and loved Erin, Hillary and Brooke immensely to the moon and back.  His joy was only multiplied with the blessings of his sons-in-law and 5 awesome grandchildren.  We are thinking of you all and sending hugs across the miles.
