Kenneth Bieber, age 70 of Dorr, went to be with his Lord and Savior after battling cancer, February 12, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. Ken was born November 8, 1951, to Owen and Shirley Bieber in Grand Rapids, MI. Ken was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy; father, Owen Bieber; grandparents Albert and Minnie Bieber, and John and Josephine Fein. Ken was employed at Reynolds Metals for 19 years and UAW Region 1D for 18 years before retiring in 2008. He took great pride in his work and served the people he represented with conviction, integrity, and kindness, and he fought passionately for a cause in which he truly believed. Ken enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed time at his cabin on the Muskegon River. In his retirement, he restored old Oliver crawlers and could fix just about anything. He was a skilled welder and could fabricate custom solutions for any metal need. His favorite time of the year was the fall when he would go hunting in the Upper Peninsula with his friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren - hunting and fishing or watching their band concerts and sporting events.
