Lynn Jay Huff

Lynn Jay Huff, age 74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, January 10, 2025 while surrounded by his family; he is now reunited with his beloved wife, Kathy. Lynn was a lifelong dairy farmer in Byron Center and loved to spend as much time as possible outdoors. He was a proud grandpa and loved spending time with his kids and grandkids, always finding an excuse to “pop by” and see his new great-grandson. He will be deeply missed.

Lynn is survived by his children Douglas Huff, Brenda (Bob) Sikkema, Terry (Jessica) Huff, Brent (Stephanie) Huff, Melissa (Al) Hiemstra; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandson; siblings Darwin (Doris) Huff, Barbara (John) Zuidersma; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Lynn is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Huff; siblings Darlene (Loy) Dykstra; and parents Ronald and Vera Huff.

Visitation will be held from 12-2 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home (Dorr Chapel), 4330 18th St., Dorr, MI 49323. A funeral service celebrating Lynn’s life will be held 10 a.m. Friday, January 17 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home (Dorr Chapel). Lynn will be laid to rest at Jones Cemetery in Dorr Township, MI.
