I will forever be grateful for the “exceptional care” that Marlene provided for my father over the years! Jimi and Marlene opened up their home to him on several occasions for weeks at a time. Marlene visited our dad numerous times while in the hospital with many overnight stays and she generously catered to his many needs - truly a selfless and giving act of love! Marlene is dearly loved and will be greatly missed! My thoughts, heartfelt prayers and deepest sympathies to Jimi, Katelynn, Kendralyn, Karolyne and family! God bless you and yours! XOXOXO With much love, ♥ ♥ ♥ Sally Marie Brown, Scottsdale, Arizona

I can think of so many times I got to spend with Marlene over the years. Nothing but smiles as I think of those times. She always made me feel like family, even though I was Kevin’s friend. LOL! Love to Jimmy and the family.

I will miss Marlene at the pool. Marlene would come and did the ladies cheered -- as she was good player with the beach ball. It seem we always needed her. When she brought the dog, it was cute and the rest of the ladies made a fuss over it. I am so sorry for your lost, I pray for you all during this tough time. Nora Tyler

Marlene made everyone feel like family. She was such a true extension of both her parents Dale and Mary. There was always a hug and a kiss from her and she had a way of looking you right in the eyes to tell you how much she loved you. She had a fierce and beautiful love for her family and her siblings were her pride and joy from what I have observed over the last 25 years of knowing her. May all of you find peace in knowing how truly loved your wife, mother, sister and friend was. God Bless you all.

I hadn't known Marlene long, but instantly liked her when we met as election workers. She was experienced and was so helpful. She was very fun to work with and I looked forward to seeing her every election. She was taken much too soon and will be missed. Cherish your memories.

We always had to chuckle when her dogs would come and visit our pole barn for some cat food. I would call her and she would drive over and pick them up. Our deepest sympathy to the family.
