So sorry to hear of his passing. It was strange just last week I was wondering how he was doing. God just sometimes brings people to my mind when they are having difficult times.
I STILL HAVE FOND MEMORIES OF GLEN AND NORMA WHEN THEY WERE DATING AND GETTING MARRIED. GLEN WAS MY MANAGER AT THE SHOE STORE IN WOOD FIELD MALL ABOUT 50 YEARS AGO. HE WAS REALLY MY FIRST MANAGER AT A REGULAR JOB WHILE GOING TO CALVIN COLLEGE. HE WAS ALWAYS A KIND MAN AND I APPRECIATED HIS GUIDENCE AT TIMES.
NORMA I WAS THE PERSON WHO WENT TO DAKOTA CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL TO TEACH
Wishing you all God's comfort at this time of mourning. Death is always hard to handle.
Looking forward to seeing him in heaven. I'm sure he'll have stories to tell.

Dear Norma ~
So sad to hear of Glen's death! My heart goes out to you and your family as you say farewell for now. I pray God will attend to the hollow spaces in your heart now and going forward.
Glen was such a gift to all of us at Calvin CRC. My children fondly referred to him as the peppermint man. And, as an organ student who practiced nearly daily at church, I was gifted his generosity, kindness, and humor as he greeted me each day. Heaven is richer today.
Blessings,
Ruth Heerspink Vis

Glen was a kind loving man. Glen and Norma always made our family feel welcomed in their home. We have many fond memories together and enjoyed his cooking, garden and jokes. Our children also called them Nana and Papa along with their grandchildren Ella and Grady. Our hearts will miss him dearly and we send our love and comfort to all of the family and Norma. Remembering Glen's big smile is priceless.

Glen was my first real boss. My brothers and I would help him stack wood. We might have been 8 yrs old or so. We didn’t work that hard but Glen was our friend. He would say how hard did you work today 1 hand or 2. That means we reach into the coin jar and take 1 or 2 hand fulls of coins. He would fish with us in the pond out back. A lot of great memories with Glen, Norma and Tonya was one of my best friends. Glen you will be truly missed by many. My thoughts and prayers for ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY. RIP my friend
