Patricia Rae Slagter (Bullen), age 86 of Wayland, Michigan, born December 1, 1938 passed away Monday, January 6, 2025. She was preceded in death by sisters Phyllis Gerg, Marilyn Doornbos, and Joann Kooiman. She is survived by her children Perry (Marcia), Rick (Cindy), and Calvin Slagter; brother, Thomas Bullen. She was blessed with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pat was devoted to her children and grandchildren; she loved attending their activities. She even became a bus driver to be close to her children's sporting events. She loved watching her Detroit teams on television and at times, when they weren't doing well, she would yell at the television. She loved family gatherings and was a favorite aunt by all. She was spunky and happy. Everyone who met her, loved her.
Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 4330 18th Street, Dorr, MI 49323. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 13 at the funeral home, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
