With deep love and broken hearts, we share that our precious daughter, Tessa Hope, went to be with Jesus on September 16, 2026.
She was the beloved daughter of Mitchell and Julia Meines. Though her time with us was far too short, she was lovingly carried by her mother, tenderly held in the arms of those who loved her, and will forever be a part of our family.
We find comfort in knowing that she is safe in the arms of Jesus, free from every struggle, and whole in Heaven. We trust the promise that we will see her again one day.
“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’” — Matthew 19:14
A service will be held on Monday September 28, 2026 at Grand Rapids First Church, 2100 44th St. SW, Wyoming, MI 49519. There will be a visitation from 5:00-6:45 p.m., with a service to follow at 7 p.m., to celebrate her brief, but meaningful, life and to entrust her into the Lord’s care.
