Barbara Elizabeth Dickerson

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Cloverdale Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron Dickinson and Rev. Steve Skidmore officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Byrd Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time on Wednesday. Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to Cloverdale Baptist Church “Building Fund”.

Barbara was a lifelong resident of Dothan and was a member of Dothan High Class of 1958. After graduating she worked for GTE 15 years where she developed lifelong friendships. She went on to work as a medical receptionist for many years. Barbara was a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church where she was very faithful in her phone ministry and the Ron Meadows Sunday School Class.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Wiley T. and Mary Dickerson.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Frank Enfinger; nieces, Cindy (Rob) Medhurst, Deanna (Tim) Brown; nephews, David (Cindy) Enfinger, Danny (Melodee) Enfinger; great nieces, Kim (Eric) Sellers, Danielle (Jeremy) Smith, Meg Abrahamian and Chrystal Smith; great nephews, Brad Bartholet, T.J. Brown and Jason and Travis Enfinger; 5 great great nieces and 5 great great nephews.
