Dolores Cleveland

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at St. Columbia Catholic Church with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 until 9:30 Wednesday prior to service time.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Dothan Miracle League.

Mrs. Cleveland was born October 8, 1923 in Boonton, NJ and lived the early years of her life there. She met and married her husband, Roscoe Cleveland and they later moved to the Panama Canal Zone where they lived until 1977. She enjoyed getting together with friends and playing cards and bingo. She also enjoyed reporting the news for the Panama Canal Society. Mrs. Cleveland was a very active member of St. Columba Catholic Church where she was involved in the pre-school program and the Eucharistic ministry.

Mrs. Cleveland is predeceased by her mother, Veronica Williams, her husband, Roscoe Cleveland and a son-in-law, James Luke.

Survivors include three children, Robert Cleveland (Janice) of Riverside, CA, Susan Luke, Dothan, AL and Dawn Philbin (Philip), Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Kellie Wilson (Scott), Meghan Philbin, Geoffrey Cleveland, Cody Luke and Gregory Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Jamison Wilson, Peyton Wilson and Parker Wilson.
