Eloise Johnston

Funeral services for Mrs. Johnston will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rehobeth Cemetery under the direction of Byrd Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Eloise was born April 19, 1929 to Sanford and Autumn Hughes Battles in Houston County. She was a lifelong member of Rehobeth Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur Johnston; a sister, Rochelle Battles Jackson; and a nephew, Freddy Jackson.

She is survived by two sisters, Violet (Bobbie) Hughes and Myra Breason (Bill), both of Rehobeth; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will be gathered at the home of Bill and Myra Breason in Rehobeth.
