Eula Lee Fields

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Coley M. Holloway officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time on Saturday.

Mrs. Fields was born September 12, 1909 in Dothan to Gadi and Susannah Spooner Nichols. She later moved to Atlanta where she resided for over 60 years before moving to California in 2012 to be near her daughter. She had a love of gardening and was of the Baptist faith.

She is predeceased by her parents and her son, Francis Marion Nichols.

Survivors include two daughters, Joann Cumpton of Warner Robbins, GA and Deborah Elaine McCulloch of Bonsall, CA; several grandchildren including Sheila McCulloch, Cynthia Nichols, Robert Sowell, Michael Sowell, Glenn Fields and Anita Fields as well as several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.Arrangements under the direction of Byrd Funeral Home, Dothan, Alabama.
