She was preceded in death by her sisters, Pauline Smith, Beuna Bramblett, Inez Stanfield, and Georgia Smith; and by her brother, Dick Smith. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Burton and Beverly Burton; her brothers Roy L. Smith (Mary), James Smith (Peggy), Jerry Smith (Patsy); her sister, Virginia Gritzmacher; and her nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Burton was a person of integrity and was a friend to all she met. She was a devout Christian and a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She lived her life like the Apostle Paul stated....she fought a good fight, she finished her course, and she kept the faith. She is loved very much by her family and will be greatly missed.
We would like to thank the staff of First Choice Hospice for their help and many acts of kindness during her battle with Alzheimers.
Mrs. Burton was a champion for animal rights and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society or to Alzheimers Research.
