Frances Jewell Palmer

Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Golson officiating and Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dothan Animal Shelter, 295 Jerry Drive, Dothan, AL 36303 or Champions of Hope at samcfchampionsofhope.kintera.org.

Ms. Palmer was born August 6, 1942, in Blakely, GA and lived her early life there. She lived most of her adult life in Albany, GA. Her family was her life and she was an adoring and dedicated mother.

She served as a tremendous witness to the Lord and was a member of Graves Springs Baptist Church in Albany.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Frances Palmer, and her brother Riley Franklin Palmer.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Lynn Palmer; her sister, Martha McCorvey; her sister-in-law, Jane Palmer; a God-grandson, Chase Michael Pittman; and many friends.
