
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2011, at Enon Church of Christ Cemetery with Dr. Johnny Fain officiating and Byrd Funeral Home on West Main directing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Community Missions, 300 W. Main Street, Dothan, AL 36303 or to Enon Church Cemetery, 1366 Enon Road, Webb, AL 36376.
Frankie was born in Houston County and graduated from Ashford High School. He was involved in numerous civic and public service organizations. He was a co-founder of the Houston County Rescue Squad and served as president of the organization until his retirement. Frankie was an avid sports fan and coached little league and high school sports. He also enjoyed playing golf with the Hackers Golf Group. He was the former owner and operator of Ingram Vault and Memorial Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Army National Guard. Frankie was a member of Enon Church of Christ in Webb and later became a member of First Baptist Church of Dothan.
Mr. Ingram was preceded in death by his parents, John C. and Bessie Bell Ingram, four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Sybil M. Ingram, Dothan; a son, Eddie (Lesa) Ingram, Webb; a daughter, Kellye (Jeff) Epperson, Webb; grandchildren, Ashley (Kevin) Barnhill, Jesse (April) Ingram, Blake Epperson, Whitney Ingram, David Ingram, and Jenna Epperson, all of Webb, Michael (Rosalind) Burnham, Lisa (Joe) Weston, Allyson Weston and fiancé, Jeff Mcleany, Lauren Burnham, Will Burnham, Summer Hovey and Ron Hovey; four great grandchildren, Kate, Grant, Mayci and Kade; two sisters, Callie Mae Kilgore, and Eunice (Howard) Odom; one brother, Johnny (Betty) Ingram; numerous nieces and nephews.
