Gwendolyn J Fowler

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2015 at Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church with Byrd Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice.

Mrs. Fowler was born December 15, 1921 in Houston County and lived all of her life here. She was a graduate of Cottonwood High School and retired from Moore-Warren Equipment Company as a bookkeeper.

She is predeceased by her husband, John A. “Jack” Fowler and siblings, Ethel Bond, Dorothy Jones, Ruby Johnson, Jeanette Boyd, Luverne Johnson, Jackie Farris, Jimmy D. Johnson, Floyd Johnson and Glenda Lashley.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Fowler (Judy) of Dothan and Michael Fowler (Pat) of Gulf Shores; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; a brother, Alto Johnson, Jr. of Dothan; special friends, Bonnie Pittman, Tawanda Johnson and Martha Williams.
