Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Ashford City Cemetery with Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing.

Jack is survived by six children; eighteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a very special loved one, Phillis Smith.
